Learn how to make this lovely pearl bracelet while learning the very useful netting stitch! This is a beginning/Intermediate beading class only because it uses size 15o seed beads which can be VERY frustrating for new beaders. Pearls/beads/clasp included in cost. 4mm pearls (about 180-200), 6mm pearls (about 15-20), size 11o Delica beads (a few- like maybe 100) and size 15o seed beads (a fair amount), and a toggle clasp. Class size limited to 6. Cost of this class is $50 and includes the pearls/beads and clasp. Bring size 10 needle and 6lb fireline

| Instructor Bio: | Susan opened Bead-Therapy in 2015, originally sharing a shop space with Visions Stained Glass (wonderful shop now located on Brainerd after the tunnel) until she needed more space and eventually moved out to her current location). Susan was born in Kentucky and eventually made it to Tennessee by way of Virginia and Florida. She started making jewelry about 24 years ago at “Fat Jane’s” bead shop in Hixon. Initially she started with basic stringing, simple wire wrapping and took other classes in Las Vegas, Virginia and at bigger shows. She has been published in Bead Work 2014 Aug/Sept, 2015 Favorite Bead Stitches and 50 Favorite Bracelets. She was scheduled to teach at the national Bead and Button show in 2020, but COVID struck and it didn’t happen. She was heart broken, but trudged on. She’s relatively happy, though her big dream of being nationally known didn’t happen…. |
