Susan C Teaching Viking Knit
Come learn this easy wire weave that makes a stunning array of jewelry possibilities! Materials needed include 24g wire (soft) and your fingers. This class is going to teach a technique and discussion will be held on making bracelets or necklaces with your knit. You may or may not finish a project in class. Supplies included in a kit are a spool of 24g wire (color of choice) and a dowel to knit around. I will have draw plates to use in the shop. Cost of this class is $50.

| Instructor Bio: | Susan grew up in Kentucky and eventually made it to Tennessee by way of Virginia and Florida. She started making jewelry about 23 years ago at Fat Jane's bead shop in Hixson. She initially learned basic stringing, simple wire wrapping and took other classes in Las Vegas, Virginia and at bigger shows. She has been published in Bead Work 2014 Aug/Sept, 2015 Favorite Bead Stitches and 50 Favorite Bracelets. She was scheduled to teach at the national Bead and Button show in 2020, but COVID struck and it didn't happen. So, she had to do something with all those beads. She opened a bead store. OK, it didn't happen quite like that, but close!!! |
