Elise Teaching 6 strand Braiding on a Kumihimo disk!
This is a technique class. The goal is to become comfortable with 6 strand braiding, which is quicker and easier than 8 strand braiding. The class is suitable for all levels of braiding experience.
The 6 strand braiding technique was popularized by Janet Nijman. Elise's instructions are adapted from Janet’s material with her permission. Your fee for this class includes Janet’s instructions for the technique. We will be making a keychain or necklace. Supplies will be included with class fee.

| Instructor Bio: | Elise Lewis started making beaded jewelry in 2002 as a fundraiser for a dog rescue organization. In 2011 she bought a kumihimo kit at the Tucson bead shows, made her first beaded kumihimo necklace, and has been braiding ever since. She was raised on a chicken farm in West Tennessee and ran for the hills of East Tennessee at her earliest opportunity. |
