OK, it's end of the year and I have to do (dreading it, but it has to be done) Inventory!!  I may be bald the next time you see me from pulling all my hair out......

SO- Bead-Therapy is going to have a BIG BIG BIG (20% off almost everything) INVENTORY REDUCTION SALE!!! Please come in and help reduce my work doing inventory and stock up on your needed beading supplies!!  (PLEASE come and buy LOTS!!)

In January, we’ll be open New Year’s Eve, but closed on New Year’s day.  Tickets are going to be sold on Eventbright for the classes. I'll have links on Facebook and on the website, but I don't have them ready right now....   So go to the class CALENDAR, click on the event that you want and I hopefully will have it figured out by then!!!

 

Jan 6th, 2022 Open Bead Night (6p-9pm.  Free.  We’ll help with whatever beading issues you might be having or come if you just want to make new friends, see old friends and meet with other beady people!  Come earlier than 6p if you want!  Bring your own supper or run out and come back!)


Jan 8th, 2022 at 10am – Susan teaching Beginning Beading - Want to design your own jewelry? Restring or learn how to fix something that?s broken? Make a bracelet that is small/large enough to FIT you? Come take this class and free your imagination for designing original pieces of jewelry. Supplies needed (if you have them) include a chain-nose pliers, beading wire, beads and clasp. All supplies are for sale at bead therapy. Cost of this class is $40 and is a beginning beading class. Pam is great with jewelry design and color selection!  This price includes a kit. 

 

 

Jan 8th, 2022 at 1pm Pam teaching Beginning Kumihimo!  Learn how to make the traditional 8 stranded round Kumihimo braid on the foam disc with S-lon and size 8o or satin rattail.   Come and learn how quickly this beautiful braid can be made. Cost of the class is $45 and supplies required will be provided.  This is a Beginner class. Class size limited to 8! 




Jan 12th (Wednesday), 2022 at 2pm - Amy teaching Baroque Drop Earrings!  Learn how to make these unique wire and bead earrings with a cute swingy dangle at the bottom! This is a beginning Wire Beading class! Amy is a great teacher and loves to share her designs!  Cost of this class is $40 which includes all supplies to make your pair of earrings.

Jan 14th, 2022 at 6pm (Friday) Mandie teaching New Beginnings Chakra and Meditation Class!  Come and learn about Meditation techniques and various Chakra stones in this class. We will be focused on clear and white stones this month and learn more about chakra meaning. This class will be offered virtually, but please sign up one week in advance so that we can mail your beads to you.  Cost of this class is $35 and includes kit to make your Chakra Bracelet!

 

 

Jan. 15th, 2022 at 10am Dina teaching Byzantine Chainmaille Bracelet - Byzantine is a beautiful weave and looks much harder than it is. Once you get the pattern going, the weave goes together pretty quick. You should complete your bracelet in class. You have a choice of shiny aluminum or two tone round wire anodized aluminum rings. Bring your pliers if you have them, otherwise we have tools that you can borrow. Class fee includes kit and all rings needed.  Cost of this class is $45


 

Jan. 15th, 2022 at 1pm Pat Teaching Image Transfer on Polymer Clay for Pendant and/or earrings!  Learn this great technique transferring images to polymer clay while making a beautiful pendant and/or earrings! Learn how to condition clay, transfer images and bake your clay pieces.  This is a beginning Clay class.  Cost is $45 and includes the clay to make the class pieces. Pat makes beautiful clay pendant/earring sets (which you can always go and purchase if you'd rather!!)!

Jan 22nd, 2022 at 10am – Ashley teaching Make your own Chain and Findings!  Come and learn from our resident wire expert how to make these Unique earwires/headpins and cool chains that are as individual as you are!  Making your own findings enhance your jewelry and make your work unique.  Cost of this class is $45 and is a beginning bead class that lasts for 2.5 hours.  Cost of this class includes supplies to make a pair of earrings and a bracelet.  Bring wire tools if you have them and if not, we have tools for lending.  Tools suggested- Round nose and chain nose pliers.  You will learn how to make your own clasps and or earwires!

 

Jan. 22nd, 2022 at 1pm– Tracy teaching Metal Stamping! Come and learn how to stamp on metal forms and make a bracelet and or earrings. This type of jewelry has been around for several years, but with all the cute design stamps, you can have a ball!  Cost of this class is $45 which includes supplies to make your own bracelet or pendant in class.

 

Jan 26 (Wednesday), 2022 at 2PM- Amy teaching Leather Bead and Chain Bracelet. Come and learn how to make one or several of these fabulous bracelets with Amy! This is a beginning beading class and cost is $40. Class lasts 2.5-3 hours. Supplies needed include beads, leather and chain.

Jan 29th, 2022 at 10am – Dina teaching Beads in Motion Bracelet!  Learn this fabulous leather and metal bracelet with lively mobile beads with a nice magnetic class.  This is a beginning beading class and with all supplies to make your bracelet included.  Pictured is the copper version.  Dina is making a mixed metal color version as well.  Cost of this class is $50.

 

 

Jan 29th, 2022 at 1PM Engibe teaching her Arrow Herringbone and Peyote Bracelet! Learn how to combine Peyote and Herringbone together in this beautiful bracelet. Cost of this class is $45 and lasts about 2.5 hours.  If you don't finish during class time, you can come back on an open day to finish. Be aware that this bracelet uses Delica beads.  It would be challenging for a beginner, but if you have knowledge of Peyote, you probably can do it.  Supplies are included with the cost of the class.

Feb. 5th, 2022 at 1PM - Amy teaching X's and O's Bracelet!! - This is an easy beginner beading bracelet that will introduce you to the easiest form of Right Angle Weave (which is Susan's favorite!) and this can be a casual bracelet or a fancy bracelet depending all on what beads you choose!  Class size limited to 8.  Amy is a great teacher and has taught many classes here at Bead-Therapy!   Cost of this class is $40 and includes all materials to make the bracelet shown or a similar style (with different colors).

Feb. 11th, 2022 at 6pm (Friday) - Mandie Teaching her February Chakra class focusing on Love (for Valentines). Red and gold colors!!  Learn more about meditation and chakras this month focusing on Red stones.  Cost of this class is $40 and is a beginning beading class.

 

 

Feb. 12th, 2022 at 1pm & Dec. 7th, 2021 at 10am - Jenny teaching Cane Glass Earrings or Keychain.  Learn/Improve your wire forming and jewelry designing skills while making these unique earrings with Cane glass.  Learn how to deal with larger holes in beads as well as designing your own beautiful accessories to wear!  These make great holiday gifts as well!  You will be able to make at least 1pair of earrings in class.  Bring your wire tools if you have them (we have tools to borrow if you don't) Other supplies needed include ear wires and 20g or -we have everything you need for sale.  This is a beginning bead class.  Cost is $40 and class lasts about 2.5 hours. Small bench block and hammer if you have it.

 

 

Feb. 12th, 2022 at 1pm Pat Teaching Stamping and Embellishing Polymer Clay for Jewelry Making.  In this class we will review Polymer clay conditioning and learn techniques for using stamps, cutters and powders to embellish and make beautiful and unique jewelry pieces. This is a beginning polymer clay class. We will provide clay and findings to make your own pendant and earrings. Cost of this class is $45.



Feb 16th (Wednesday), 2022 - Amy teaches Zig Zag stone bracelet!  Come and make this beautiful, but still casual beaded bracelet!!  This is a beginning beading class and all you need is your fingers (well, and beads and string, and maybe a macrame board...).  This is not macrame and is a bit easier, but tension is important.  Come and design your own fabulous bracelet!!  You can use macrame as a closure and makes the bracelet adjustable!  This would make a great gift for friends!!  Cost of this class is $40.

Feb. 19th, 2022 at 10am – Annette teaching Wire Wrapped Pendant! - Learn how to wrap your own cabochons like a pro! Create beautiful pendants or earrings with Annette. Cost of this class is $50 and includes the wire and stone. Supplies needed: round nose, flat nose and chain nose pliers (if you have them). Bead mats and lights are provided. Class size limited to 6.  This is a beginning bead class.  Class lasts 2-2.5 hours.  You will complete one pendant in class.

 

Feb. 19th, 2022 at 1pm – Kassie teaching her Geometric Odd Count Peyote Bracelet!  Kassie returns to us wit a new pattern that I personally LOVE!   This bracelet is slinky and a joy to wear besides looking fabulous!  Kassie will show several different methods for the odd count turn around, but will encourage what she thinks is the easiest method.  She will also cover using the bead slide on clasps.  This is an intermediate class, so you will be expected to be comfortable with at least even count Peyote stitch.  Cost of this class is $30 and kits will be offered for sale at the class.

Feb 26th, 2022 at 10AM - Pam teaches How to Finish your Kumihimo Projects!  Love all of your Kumi bracelets/necklaces, but they sit unfinished because you aren't sure how to do it?  Or you finished it, but aren't happy with the look?  Come in and learn from the best!  Cost of this class is $30 since you won't be actually making a piece, but being shown several ways of finishing pieces and/or getting help with finishing yours!! Any supplies needed to finish your piece can be purchased at a 10% discount on class day! 

 

Feb. 26th, 2022 at 1Pm - Judy teaching Paper Bead jewelry!  Learn how to make beautiful jewelry from paper! In this class you will learn how to make beads from junk mail, magazines and other (prettier) paper and turn them into beautiful jewelry! Supply list coming. Bring some of your favorite magazines and make beads out of them too!! This is a beginner beading class and all supplies are included. Cost of this class is $40.

March 5th, 2022 at 10AM - Susan teaching Beginning Beading. (description above)



March 12th, 2022 at 1PM - Pat Teaches Clay Embellishment using Mokume Gane technique!  You will review your skills at conditioning clay and will learn how to produce a Mokume Gane block of cane and show you how to embellish your base clay to make beautiful pieces of jewelry with it. This is a beginning clay class and all clay and findings will be provided with cost of class. Bring your own clay tools (roller, cutters, blades and pasta machine) if you have them, otherwise we have shop tools to use.  Cost of this class is $45.

Don’t forget that we offer many classes on demand.  If the teacher is local, most are willing to teach classes at a convenient time for you and the teacher.  I’m getting these on the website, but please have patience!!!
