2024-03 Finally!!! Something from Bead Therapy!

March Newsletter 2024

OK, so I've been slack about getting the newsletters out...  I'm not dead, I PROMISE!!   Nobody generally takes classes in January since they are paying off Christmas bills and February I was in Tucson (hard to plan when out of town....), and I've been busy with my elderly Dad and my poor Mother passed away and I'm helping Dad deal with her estate.....  Need more excuses?  I might have a few more.  OK, I'll stop.  I don't have a ton of classes planned right now, but some good ones and I'm working on more.  Engibe with her Dream Catchers (they are beautiful), her half Tila Herringbone bracelet and her beaded shawl, Pat Davis and a great Mokume Gane cuff.  And I've talked to Dale (Cougar Armstrong) and she's going to start up her classes again starting with her "Anything" Cocktail ring!!

Here you go with a fun link (if needed) - CLASSES  Or read on below!!!

COMING!!!--

Engibe and her Dream Catcher!! - Date to be determined-  Engibe has been making Dream Catchers for years.  Native American culture believe that Dream Catchers protect sleepers (especially children) from bad dreams/nightmares and bad spirits.  And they are beautiful.

Please remember that we offer many classes on demand.  If the teacher is local, most are willing to teach classes at a convenient time for you and the teacher.  I’m getting these on the website, but please have patience!!!   Look at the teacher page and see if anything interests you.  I'm still adding some of our teachers (I am SUCH a SLACKER!!!). TEACHER PAGE

And generally, I sometimes (ok, all the time) don't really proof this newsletter prior to sending it out.  Most of the time because I'm sending it out at the last minute and in sort of a hurry.  Please excuse the poor grammer and misspelled words.  That's not my strong suit!

And please remember to shop small.  I know there are a lot of other places that you can shop at to purchase your beads.  I'd like to think that we offer valuable knowledge and skills to enhance your jewelry (or beaded whatever) making.  The big boxes continue to get bigger and I'm hearing of more and more of my fellow bead shop owners having to close down because they can't compete.  I can't compete either, but would like to think that I offer more choices and services that make you want to come back for more.  Thanks for your support and I hope that I can stay here for you for many more years to come!
